El álbum de Snooze finalizado en este año 2012 incluye 10 temas compuestos durante los últimos años por los integrantes de la banda. Luego de un arduo trabajo de grabación, mezcla y edición por parte de los tres integrantes  el resultado esta terminado en formato físico con una edición limitada y en formato gratis en la web para los que quieran escuchar los temas. El trabajo discográfico engloba composiciones de los últimos 10 años, con temas escritos al comienzo de la formación de la banda y van avanzando en el tema hasta temas escritos en este año. Incluye temas en español e ingles.El estilo del álbum es mezclado y al contener temas de distintas épocas puede variar el sonido y el estilo de un tema a otro sin nunca perder el estilo de snooze, desde el punk del 2000 al sonido alternativo y mas comercial del 2012. Sin dudas un álbum compilación que marca el fin de una etapa de la banda, de cosas vividas, experiencia, composición y muchos años de trabajo que abre la puerta a lo que viene, lo nuevo de la banda que pronto se publicara en la red para todos sus seguidores y que sin dudas sorprenderá y tratara de mostrar la maduración de la banda. Esten atentos a lo que viene en 2013 la banda va por mucho mas.

Extraña experiencia filmando en hotel Viena / Strange experience shooting at Viena Hotel

El pasado septiembre SNOOZE fue a filmar su nuevo video ¨I´ll let you go¨ (disponible en youtube)  al Museo hotel Viena en Miramar provincia de Córdoba. Muchas historias se cuentan tanto por visitantes como por sus propios guías, acerca de los extraños fenómenos paranormales que se suelen dar a menudo en el lugar, como ruidos de pasos de botas militares, ruidos de estática de una radio vieja o la aparición de sombras especialmente durante la noche. Debemos decir que estuvimos ahí durante toda una jornada de grabación y ningún hecho extraño se registro a excepción de un pequeño evento que nos llamó sumamente la atención. Al filmar una toma de Martin el guitarrista de la banda, saliendo del viejo ascensor del ala donde solía ser el Hospital del Hotel, y al lado de las escaleras, la cámara que filmaba esa escena nunca consiguió hacer foco, buscaba foco constantemente sin lograr definir la imagen claramente como lo hace usualmente y como hizo en el resto de los lugares. Debemos recalcar que nunca la cámara había reaccionado así, es decir que una cámara en modo automático y en un lugar con lugar normal bien iluminado, nunca debería actuar de ese modo . Además de esto, en la cara del guitarrista se ve una luz clara brillante y redonda que no se va, siendo que ningún tipo de fuente de luz además de la luz que entraba por la puerta podría haberla generado. Si bien podría analizarse y tratar de encontrarse alguna respuesta lógica a esta tan poco común reacción de la cámara, hay que aclarar que en ese preciso lugar es donde varios testigos han visto luces flotantes que se dirigen a la planta superior. En ese momento los integrantes de la banda lo tomaron entre risas y un poco en serio. Lo importante es que el video de la banda (ahora disponible en youtube) se termino y ahora todos pueden verlo en internet, sin embargo esa escena nunca fue filmada o mejor dicho la filmación no sirvió ya que la imagen no esta en foco. Last September Snooze  filmed their new video  ¨ I'll let you go¨ at  the Museum Vienna hotel in Miramar Córdoba. Many stories are told  by visitors and their guides, about the strange paranormal phenomena that usually occur in that place, for example the sound of footsteps of military boots, static noise or the appearance of shadows especially overnight. We must say that we were there for a whole day shooting and anything happened, except for a small event called us extremely attention. When they were shooting a scene with Martin the guitarist in front of the the old elevator at the Hospital wing next to the stairs, the camera filming that scene could never focus. We must emphasize that the camera never reacted like that before.  That type of camera set in automatic mode and in a well-lit with normal place, should never react that way. Besides you can see the face of the band's guitarist covered by a clear light. (watch the video) Several witnesses have seen floating lights that go to the top floor exactly in that place. The important thing is that the video of the band (now available on youtube) was completed, however that scene was never added to the video.. Filmando en el Hotel de Hitler / Filming at Hitler´s Hotel

Filmar en el Hotel de Hitler como le llamamos nosotros mejor dicho el hotel Viena en Miramar provincia de Córdoba, fue algo totalmente distinto a lo que habíamos hecho antes. Un lugar abandonado, misterioso un tanto oscuro y desolado, con muchas historias que se han contado por tantos años; La locación perfecta para nuestro video I´ll let you go (que pueden ver en youtube), que habla de una relación un tanto misteriosa y fría que termina;  simplemente era el lugar perfecto para el video.  Salimos  temprano el día de filmación y viajamos 2 horas hasta llegar al lugar, un tanto aislado, pegado a la Laguna Mar chiquita que es como un mar que lo rodea. Ahí conocimos los alrededores, y luego nuestra guía Patricia nos guió por los principales sectores.  Estábamos contentos, el lugar es un tanto lúgubre, exactamente lo que buscábamos,  aunque coincidimos que debe ser mucho mas inquietante durante la noche. Recordamos que según la historia y lo que se dice, ahí vivió durante un tiempo post segunda guerra el mismo Hitler y sus comandantes escapando de su tierra natal huyendo de sus propios crímenes, siendo el Hotel construido con fondos del nazismo. Esto nos lleva a muchas teorías e historias, como las operaciones de los Nazis en ese lugar para cambiar su apariencia, Y por supuesto situaciones extrañas que se dan en el hotel narradas por personas que han estado ahí, luces, ruidos, apariciones etc. Sin embargo toda la filmación se dio con total normalidad. Caminamos por los pasillos oscuros, las habitaciones húmedas donde supuestamente se dan apariciones especialmente de noche, pero todo estuvo en orden. Filmamos hasta mas o menos las 5 de la tarde, se nos paso el tiempo. Se hicieron gran variedad de tomas del hotel, habitaciones, baños y exteriores.  Solamente una sola curiosidad nos ocurrió cuando filmábamos en el viejo ascensor del hotel. La cámara que filmaba a uno de los guitarristas generó un circulo de luz y no encontraba foco de ninguna forma. Una cosa totalmente inusual que nunca nos ocurrió antes. La cámara durante 20 segundos No podía hacer foco de ninguna manera, y esa luz blanca no se iba. No sabemos que fue lo dejamos a criterio de cada uno. Luego de 20 días de edición de sonido, de imágenes etc, nuestro video I´ll let you go en nuestro canal snoozecba se estrenó en Youtube, Ahora está disponible para aquellos que quieran conocer nuestra música y al mismo tiempo conocer  al misterioso Viena Hotel (el Hotel de Hitler). Filming at the Hitler's Hotel (Hotel Vienna) in Cordoba province, was something completely different to what we did before. An abandoned, somewhat mysterious dark and grim place, with many stories That have been Told for so many years, the perfect location for our new video I'll let you go (you can see it on youtube), the song talks about a cold and mysterious relationship and its end, It was the perfect location to shot the video. We left early the day of filming and Traveled 2 hours to get there .. There we walked around, and then our guide Patricia Showed us the different places. We were glad to be there, so the place looks abandoned, exactly what we wanted, but we agreed That It Should be much more disturbing at night. according to the story, Hitler and his Commanders lived at the Hotel escaping from Their own crimes. The Hotel was built with funds from Nazism. This leads to many theories and stories, as the operations of the Nazis in there to change your appearance, and of course strange Situations That Occur in the hotel Told by people who have been there, lights, noises, apparitions etc. However all the shooting occurred normally. We walked through the dark corridors, wet rooms where supposedly there are appearances Especially at night, but all was in order. Until We shot about 5 in the afternoon, we spend time. There were a variety of shots of the hotel, rooms, bathrooms and outdoors. Only one curious When We Were shooting happened in the old hotel elevator. The camera was filming one of the guitarists and suddently a circle of light Showed up in the middle of the screen and could not focus at all. An unusual thing.We could not find a way to fix that.

Video Nuevo casi listo / New Video almost ready

 

La edición del nuevo video de SNOOZE se encuentra en estos momentos en sus últimos detalles.  El tema que la banda eligió es I´ll let you go (te dejare ir).  Luego de realizar la filmación de las tomas  en el interior de la provincia de Córdoba a principios de mes, se comenzó con la elección de las tomas y los efectos visuales de las mismas.  A diferencia de nuestros 2 videos anteriores que se pueden ver en Youtube (Sometimes y Volver atrás) en nuestro canal Snoozecba, este nuevo cuenta con mayor calidad audiovisual. Si bien tanto la idea original, como la filmación en si misma y la post producción son realizadas íntegramente por los tres integrantes de la banda, la idea como fin ha sido superarse en cada nuevo emprendimiento y asegurarse que el resultado sea notablemente mejorado en cada video. No solo la mejoría en cuanto a los equipos que se usaron sino en la regrabación de detalles de audio del tema para que suenen mucho mas profesionales. El video estará disponible este próximo Sábado 6 de Octubre en Youtube y esperemos que lo disfruten.

The  edition of the new video of the band is currently in its last details. The song they chose is (i´ll let you go). After making the filming of the shots earlier this month, it began with the election of the shots and visual effects . Unlike our two previous videos that can be viewed on YouTube (Sometimes and Volver atras) in our channel Snoozecba, the visual quality has increased this time. The original idea, as the film itself and the post production is carried out entirely by the three members of the band, Not only improvement in terms of the equipment used in film but audio details to sound much more professional. Snooze banda pop rock alternativa de Cordoba Argentina formada en 1999 por Martín Sainz Aja, Jorge Montoya y por Martín Sanchez Sarmiento quien se unió a la banda un tiempo después. Los primeros tiempos había otros integrantes de la banda que dejaron de estar con el paso de los años. La banda comenzó como un proyecto entre amigos, pero que con el pasar del tiempo debido a diferentes situaciones llevo a un cambio de integrantes hasta llegar a la conformación actual de un power trio y con objetivos mas claros. Incluso el nombre y el estilo de la musica cambiaron con el tiempo y la madurez de la banda. Comenzando con una fusión de punk nacional y norteamericano de principios del 2000 en los primeros temas hasta un rock mas independiente y alternativo en los temas actuales, buscando darle un giro mas actual con un concepto mas claro de lo que la banda quiere lograr, siempre con una marcada influencia del rock o pop rock internacional tanto en la música como en las letras.
